Pinot Noir "Grace's Secret" 2020

NZ$34.50
Sold Out

With low yields, less irrigation and a lot of vine-to-vine attention, this Pinot noir will showcase a new generation of Marlborough. This wine has herbaceous notes on the nose with red cherries and fine spices on the palate. Great structure and ripe tannins throughout the experience. Ideally use a decanter if you fancy to drink this wine within 3 years.

500 Vines were selected on a slightly higher plateau from the Brêloft vineyard in the Awatere Valley. We brought the vineyard work to the next level with vine-to-vine attention. All vines are 2 cane pruned with canes growing on one year old wood, de-lateralised and one bunch per shoot with the shoulders removed. The grapes were hand harvested on a cool morning and settled on a cold temperature for 24 hours before the process started; 30% whole bunch and 70% destemmed, wild fermentation and gentle filtration.
